Overview

Joining Crown means joining a global leader in the design and manufacture of packaging products. In one of our manufacturing divisions, you’ll be key in packaging household products we use every day. You may develop, fix or fabricate solutions and work within the shop and production departments. No matter the location, safety’s a top priority for you, and you’ll be fully compliant with all OSHA rules and regulations. Responsibilities

Entry Operator

 Location:

  • Lancaster, OH

Salary:

  • We offer competitive pay starting at $22.13/hour .

Hours:

Employees will have 12 hour swing shift rotation schedules as follows:

6AM-6PM

6PM - 6AM

$500  sign on bonus after 180 calendar days actively working.

Summary:

As an Entry Operator you will be responsible for overseeing the closure (cap) production lines through observations, quality checks and manual machine maintenance. Great opportunity for growth and promotion.

Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Sets up and maintains equipment.
  • Responsible for conducting quality checks and reacts to quality issues.
  • Great communication skills and working with all departments
  • Excellent attention to detail. Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Preform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Comfortable working independently and with team members.
  • Assist in maintenance activities as well as additional skills that are a bonus such as Operate forklift/tow motor.
  • Responsible for completing daily housekeeping task and performing as well as monthly safe audits

Requirements & Skillsets:

  • Mechanical Aptitude with a variety of skills working with pulleys, conveyors, and motors.
  • Must regularly lift and/ or move up to 50 pounds as well as must be able to work up to twelve (12) hour shifts, days, nights, and weekends and be flexible and responsible for the changing needs of the organization.
  • Must be committed to fully complying with all OSHA safety rules and regulations as well as be committed to quality.
