Overview
Joining Crown means joining a global leader in the design and manufacture of packaging products. In one of our manufacturing divisions, you’ll be key in packaging household products we use every day. You may develop, fix or fabricate solutions and work within the shop and production departments. Pay Rate: $39.9205/hour
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow all plant safety rules & required PPE at all times
- Ensure safe operation practices
- Preventative maintenance of all production equipment
- Installation and modification of mechanical equipment
- Fabrication for machinery and special items, as required
- Repairs manufacturing equipment such as conveyors, pumps, piping, and other mechanical equipment
- Performs simple to intermediate equipment and pipe installations
- Compiles with all environmental, health, safety, and housekeeping programs
- Rebuild production equipment
- Conduct inventory of spare parts
- Assist with and learn troubleshooting of production and facilities equipment breakdowns
- Ensure safety precautions and proper methods of preventative and Predictive Maintenance on various types of equipment
- Keeps work area neat, clean, and free of debris

REQUIREMENTS:
- Mechanical background and/or experience required
- MUST BE ABLE TO TRAIN ON 1ST SHIFT. 6:45 AM TO 3:00 PM
- Must be able to operate forklifts, Gantry, and aerial lifts
- Thorough understanding of rigging, welding, and fabricating
- Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds occasionally and regularly stand, stoop, reach, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb and balance. This position also requires manual dexterity/fine motor skills.
- Ability to work an eight (8) hour shift, frequent overtime may also be required.
