SOC Manager –(budget approved by Kevin Clothier)

Job Description

Reporting to the Global Director of Cyber Security Operations, the SOC Manager will provide operational leadership and management for our cybersecurity operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily SOC operations, including real-time alert monitoring and triage, incident analysis, investigation, coordination, containment, eradication, and recovery

• Oversee team coordination, scheduling, and shift rotations to ensure appropriate coverage

• Serves as the primary incident lead during significant cyber incidents, coordinating response efforts and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

•Develop, refine, and enforce SOC playbooks, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and incident response protocols

• Manage SIEM engineering and integrations, including use case development, content curation, and performance management

• Produce and present regular reports and metrics on SOC performance, incident trends, and risk posture to stakeholders and executives

• Define and implement hiring and retention strategies

• Oversee and manage SOC training programs, staff development, and continuous upskilling initiatives

• Support continuous improvement initiatives for SOC processes, technologies, and capabilities

• Collaborate with Regional Security and IT teams
