Overview

Responsibilities
Position Overview:
To safely ensure that all end center production meets customer process specifications and is properly packaged and palletized for shipment.
Duties And Responsibilities:
- Operate the end center packaging station and assemble finished product on pallets.
- Assist Maintainer in troubleshooting the production process and clear machine jams as needed.
- Perform visual checks of finished ends to ensure entire process meets compliance standards, and take actions when deficiencies are found.
- Maintain sufficient supply of materials for End Center production needs, including sorting and stacking of pallets and changing shrink wrap.
- Complete required quality checks and documentation.
- Upend and load coils on to End Center unwinder and dump scrap dumpsters as needed.
- Ensure that the End Center finished product is properly cured, wrapped and stored; perform quality checks as required.
- Check the conditions of the forklift and perform basic P.M.’s.
- Maintain cleanliness of all work areas and follow all safety procedures and work practices.
- Assist in other areas to support smooth can flow through the plant.
- Perform other job-related duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications:
In addition to the specific responsibilities listed above, the ideal candidate will possess the following:
Minimum Requirements
- Ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of applicable safety regulations, reinforcing a culture where safety is the top priority.
- Ability to learn and drive forklift in a safe manner.
- Attention to detail to notice and correct/report errors, ensuring high-quality output.
- Ability to learn and understand entire end line process, materials used, and customer specifications.
- Problem solving skills through an individual and collaborative approach.
- Ability to work independently or with a team.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in high-speed manufacturing environment
- Experience driving forklift

Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and may be required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The Team Member may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
Working Conditions:
- Generally, working in a plant environment but may be required to perform some job duties inside a typical office setting.
- While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicular traffic.
- The Team Member may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures.
- The noise level is frequently loud.
