Overview
Joining Crown means joining a global leader in the design and manufacture of packaging products. In one of our manufacturing divisions, you’ll be key in packaging household products we use every day. You may develop, fix or fabricate solutions and work within the shop and production departments. No matter the location, safety’s a top priority for you, and you’ll be fully compliant with all OSHA rules and regulations. About the Lancaster plant:
CMB is expanding and building onto our operations at the Lancaster, OH plant. We are looking for skilled and motivated people to help us as we ramp up our existing operations and add more capabilities to service our customers.
Job purpose:
- To assemble and test machinery and equipment with the use of engineering drawings, machine build books, and SOP’s and producing quality work to the required standard in a safe manner following CMB procedures.
The job requirements for this position are as follows:
- Minimum two years experience in the assembly and test of OEM machinery
- General knowledge of hand tools and the capability to use them safely
- Experience with manual milling machines, engine lathes, and surface grinders
- Ability to read and interpret part and assembly drawings including GD & T
- Combined education and on-the-job training within an engineering background
- Organized, methodical, and able to work independently
- Effective communicator
