Overview

You may develop, fix or fabricate solutions and work within the shop and production departments. DIVISION OVERVIEW:
Crown’s Aerosol Division helps global brands become leaders in their market segments with high-quality metal aerosol packaging. We merge our unique decorating capabilities with the latest aerosol technologies to create packaging that meets rigorous industry requirements and, most importantly, consumers' everyday needs and expectations worldwide. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow all plant safety rules and required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assists with incoming inspection of purchased materials.
- Performs first article inspection, verification, and Equipment Set-up Evaluation (ESE) as required.
- Perform in-process sampling inspection per the PCR instructions for Can Assembly and Press Depts.
- Challenge in-process inspection cameras daily when production lines are in operation.
- Perform dimensional evaluations and document attribute and variable inspection data.
- Perform inspections as defined in SOP’s.
- Assist as needed to label pallets.
- Conducts final inspection of completed product in Can Assembly and Press Depts.
- Utilizes precision measuring devices and electronic equipment to ensure compliance of parts and products with established specifications.
- Maintains record of inspections and prepares list of defects, interacts with other departments to ensure compliance with specification and to facilitate the acceptance of parts.
- Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in quality
- MUST BE ABLE TO TRAIN ON 1ST SHIFT FOR 3 TO 6 MONTHS (6:45 AM TO 3:00 PM)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with other team members
- Strong attention to detail and ability to establish and maintain a high level of organization and quality
- Familiarization with computers; data entry/Microsoft programs
- Ability to lift to thirty (30) pounds occasionally and regularly stand, stoop, reach, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, and balance. This position also requires manual dexterity/fine motor skills
- Ability to work an eight (8) hour shift, frequent overtime may also be required
